Perfect Example of Fake News

Turns out I actually have way more to say about the collapse of the Russia collusion hoax.

I read the quote below and just had to make another post:

In an interview with the New York Times, Zucker said he was “entirely comfortable” with CNN’s Trump-Russia coverage and suggested it was entirely appropriate to give near around-the-clock-coverage due to the story’s magnitude. “We are not investigators. We are journalists, and our role is to report the facts as we know them, which is exactly what we did,” the CNN chief wrote in an email. “A sitting president’s own Justice Department investigated his campaign for collusion with a hostile nation. That’s not enormous because the media says so. That’s enormous because it’s unprecedented.”

Part of being a journalist is investigating. You have to at least ASK whether or not a story is true!

What he’s saying is that he, and everyone in the media, basically took the whole “Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 Presidential Election” as fact, and just ran with it because they wanted to kick Trump out of office. Below are the two sources for this quote:

There have been tipping points and bombshells, walls closing in and turning points. And there have been so, so many declarations of “The beginning of the end!” that the comedian John Oliver had a recurring, satirical “We got him!” segment on his late-night HBO show, complete with a jubilant marching band and sequined majorettes celebrating President Trump’s downfall.

This just made me so angry, and the post at Carlos Slim’s shitty little blog has a lot more for me to be angry at, but I want to point out something very important.

A couple of years ago, a book called Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign was published. It’s written by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, both of whom are not Republicans, conservatives, libertarians or Trump fans. I actually have a copy of the book on my iPad, but haven’t finished reading it.

However, I did notice the following news stories circulating around the time of the book’s release:

The Russian Collusion mythology is the most dominant story in the news media and has been for the past eighteen months… dating back to November 7, 2016. And when one examines the contemporaneous reporting by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes in their excellent book Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign.

And here is the relevant portion of the book’s text:

“Within 24 hours of her concession speech, [campaign chair John Podesta and manager Robby Mook] assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.”

So, as you can see, that disgusting creep John Podesta and Robby Mook made this whole fucking thing up as a way to explain her massive loss. DUH.

Jeff Zucker and all the other assholes in the mainstream media promoted this stupid bullshit for TWO FUCKING YEARS because they were all in the tank for Hillary and just couldn’t stand the fact that her stupid ass lost.

Treacherous people in our government also ran with it, because they hate Trump too.

There needs to be serious consequences for this ridiculous situation, but there won’t be. I mean, look at the Jussie Smollett situation – all charges dropped, even though it’s so very obvious he faked the so-called “hate crime” and making a false police report – not to mention sending yourself suspicious-looking white powder – is a freaking crime.

But the little shit is going to get away with it, and this news broke on Tuesday, which meant that the mainstream media immediately jumped on the whole “Jussie Smollett exonerated” story, rather than admitting that they viciously slandered the President for two years.

It’s despicable. When the Mueller report dropped, I was only a little happy because I knew that such a victory would be short-lived, and I was right. The media will never admit their wrongdoing.
