Brief Site Update

So I switched to a different “link share” plug-in that would allow you to share my posts to Parler, and while I found one that supports Parler (and MeWe) I don’t like how they don’t even have the logos of Parler and MeWe. On mobile devices, the share bar appears at the bottom of the screen (which I also don’t really like, but it was either show it at the top or bottom), and on desktop it floats on the left side, which I also might change, since I don’t like that either. Add This, the previous plug-in I used, was much better in that regard, but didn’t support sharing to Parler or any other alt-tech social network.

There’s also these huge social media buttons that appear after the content itself – the buttons lead to my various social media profiles.

I also have a Telegram channel now, since it looks like Parler is going the way of Gab, being banned from the two app stores (and it’s criminal that there’s only TWO app stores for mobile devices). If you’ve already downloaded and installed Parler, you’ll be fine…just keep your device backed up so that if you have to get a new one, you can restore from the previous backup and have access to the app after it’s been removed from the Apple App Store. Hopefully Parler will host APKs on their site for Android users.

Anyway, don’t be surprised if there are some other minor changes in the appearance of the site…that’s just me looking for a decent link sharing add-on.
