Before I continue, I am very sorry for not updating as frequently. I’ve moved across the country, from the East coast to the West coast, and it’s been really stressful and there’s still a crap-ton for me to do. Plus, I started a new job today so yeah, I have been busy.
So I was browsing my inbox when I saw an email from Simon & Schuster about Banned Books Week.
Oh my god, it’s that time of year again. I absolutely HATE Banned Books Week because of the total and utter misuse of the term “banned” because NONE of these books are really banned in the US. Or the West.
I have written about this before, so you can check out my old posts about the matter. You can do a search for “banned books week” to see my subsequent takes on this utter nonsense.
Oh, and to the idiots defending Banned Books Week: If Donald Trump is not entitled to a Twitter account, you are not entitled to shelf space at the library, and you are not entitled to read a book for free. Think about that, morons.
