Alex Jones Ordered to Pay $965 Million in Sandy Hook Judgment

WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) – Radio host Alex Jones should pay $965 million to people who suffered from past false claims that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax, a jury in Connecticut decided Wednesday.

I haven’t followed the trial that closely, but this is monstrously unjust. If these families were being harassed, they should have reported the HARASSERS to the POLICE, not sued Alex Jones. But this was never about their safety.

The powers that be want all Americans disarmed. That’s why the media blasts wall-to-wall coverage of school shootings on a regular basis, because images of dead kids is supposed to make us want to give up our rights.

Alex Jones supposedly made the claim that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a false flag operation. He claims he merely asked the question, “was Sandy Hook a hoax?” And reported that the conspiracy theory was out there.

I really don’t care if he said it or not. What I care about is the fact that these treacherous families have been weaponized by someone who is obviously hidden from the public to make an example of Alex Jones and silence anyone that questions any of these school shootings.

This is, essentially, the death of the First Amendment. Now some fucking asshole can claim that the words spoken by someone they don’t like has caused people to “threaten” and “harass” them. Don’t even have to offer any actual proof, and don’t even have to report it to the police. Just cry on TV, make the claim and then you’ve successfully silenced someone.

I am sure Alex Jones will appeal this, and I hope he does, and I hope it’s successful. I doubt it will be, because that’s just how things are.

I’m not even a fan of his anymore and this still has me seriously upset.
