2008 vs 2019
Okay, so basically President Trump was not happy about the late John McCain’s role in passing around that phony dossier, and he expressed his unhappiness over three tweets this past weekend:

And McCain’s obnoxious daughter and The View co-host, Meghan McCain, absolutely lost her fucking mind over these three tweets:
Meghan McCain on Twitter: “No one will ever love you the way they loved my father…. I wish I had been given more Saturday’s with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine? https://t.co/q7ezwmHiQ4 / Twitter”

Talk about ridiculous hyperbole. I get it – she’s a Daddy’s Girl, and she’s defending her (worthless and definitely dead) father. But three tweets is hardly a fucking obsession. Furthermore, I love how she completely ignores the reason Trump “attacked” her father in the fucking first place.
My grandfather likes watching The View for some odd reason, and this weekend I was sitting at the table, eating lunch while he had it on, and I heard Meghan, aka Butterball’s super-bitchy monologue on how eeeeeeevil Trump is for daring to criticize her late father’s actions:

Watch as Meghan McCain Flips Out Over Trump During ‘The View
On Monday’s edition of “The View” Meghan McCain flipped out over President Trumps remarks about her father this weekend. First President Trump tweeted the following: Report: Christopher Steele backed up his Democrat & Crooked Hillary paid for Fake & Unverified Dossier with information he got from “send in watchers” of low ratings CNN.
That ugly sack of shit Joy Behar also had something snide to say about the President, and it just irritated me because eleven years ago, none of those fucking hags were necessarily nice about John McCain. Now, because McCain didn’t like Trump, and because his fat stupid daughter is their co-host, all of a sudden he was awesome and totally kewliez, u guise!!!!!
It’s enough to make me fucking puke, but all I had for breakfast this morning was a hot cross bun and some coffee, so there isn’t much for me to puke. I have a long memory, and I’ve been following politics for about sixteen or seventeen years now. I remember.
I had forgotten how long Whoopi Goldberg has been a co-host on that show. It’s been over ten years now. Remember when she made this idiotic assertion to John McCain’s face way back in 2008?
This prompted Whoopi Goldberg to worry that if he wanted to return to the constitution as it was written, and not as it was amended, she would be returned to slavery.
Gee, I wonder if Whoopi apologized to Butterball for insinuating that McCain himself was so racist that his Presidency would result in a return to slavery? Because that’s far worse than anything Trump has said about her father. In fact, the left has said far nastier things about her father than Trump’s three tweets and the whole “I like people that weren’t caught” thing (and let’s be frank – McCain’s “heroic service” is way, way, WAY overblown, and according to some, he was a flat-out traitor who was only interested in getting himself out of Vietnam). Check out the graphic below (although it was created by some random Dem, so you can take it with a grain of salt):
You can read about the thorough grilling the View hags gave McCain all those years ago at Carlos Slim’s shitty little blog (archive link):
https://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/09/12/the-view-couch-not-so-cozy-for-mccain/
But that’s not all. Carlos Slim’s shitty little blog was quite vicious to McCain back in 2008:
New York Times Salutes the Late John McCain, But 2008 Campaign Coverage Was Totally Classless
Republican Sen. John McCain, a war hero who suffered five-and-a-half years as a prisoner of war in the infamous “Hanoi Hilton” prison camp in Vietnam, and who became an independent, influential senator, has died at 81. The New York Times obituary was broadly admiring. But the Times hasn’t always treated Sen.
Joy Behar also attacked McCain over something one of his supporters said:
Behar previously admitted to having a “do as I say, not as I do” approach. When she railed against McCain for a supporter calling Hillary Clinton a “bitch,” Sherri Shepherd called Joy out on the many personal attacks on President Bush asking “what’s the difference?” Joy Behar snidely responded “the difference is I don’t like [Bush]”
And she’s obviously biased, and is totally fine with that (source: Newsbusters).
Anyway, if it is true that McCain was involved with the dossier, then he was wrong to do so. The dossier is full of shit. It’s nothing but lies, and was passed around for the explicit purpose of hurting Trump. Now, Butterball and her allies hate Trump so much that they probably think lying about him is justified if it results in his impeachment or whatever, but that doesn’t make them any less wrong.
There’s probably more examples of the View hags attacking McCain back in 2008, but that stuff is kind of hard to find.
I also noticed that, in this weekend’s View segment, that fat bitch Joy Behar kept going on and on about Trump’s supposed bone spurs, and how they kept him from serving in Vietnam. So? Bill Clinton was a bona-fide draft dodger, leaving the country just so he couldn’t serve in Vietnam, and yet none of these hags say anything about that. They attacked Romney for not serving in Vietnam too (he was serving as a missionary in France at the time, so that is why he didn’t get drafted).
These bitches have no integrity. They’re all a bunch of partisan hacks, and I don’t take anything they say seriously. Take a look at these articles from NewsBusters:
Joy Behar: McCain ‘Very Conservative in All His Policies’
Is ABC “View” co-host Joy Behar so far out of the political mainstream that she has a skewed sense of what entails a “liberal” and a “conservative?” The same woman who called Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama “very moderate” on the February 7 show, John McCain has “been very conservative in all his policies.”
Joy Behar Admits Double Standard on Clinton Versus Bush
“The View’s” Joy Behar objects to personal attacks on presidential candidates, when they agree with her. On the November 15 edition of “The View” co-host Joy Behar ranted against John McCain because one audience member called Hillary Clinton a “bitch.”
Does Whoopi Goldberg Get to Decry Slamming McCain? No One Recalls Her Slave Talk in 2008
On Friday, The View did the least surprising thing to open the show: offering the floor to Meghan McCain to condemn very rude things said about her father, Sen. John McCain.
